ABB is a good example of how we can adapt our production to the needs of the customer. The underwater cable is a very large project and in order to maintain the quality and optimise their own production, ABB manufactures it in segments.
   This means that production sometimes come to a halt, only to quickly pick up speed again, which means that we cannot supply wire at an even pace. We have to be flexible in our production and act as an accordion. For that reason, we have tailored our logistics to suit their needs. Regular and frequent contacts with the ABB planning department enable us to adapt our deliveries to suit their production pace.
