Josef Kihlberg is a partner to Hörle Wire and shows an example of how we work in this type of solutions. We meet regularly to discuss technical solutions and opportunities for improvement, both for us and for them. We have an open dialogue about quality, materials and solutions to specific problems.
Among other things, we helped them out when they had difficulties gaining shares in the American market. As Scandinavia’s biggest purchaser of wire rod we could secure large volumes of stapling wire at good prices. That made it possible for us to offer them long-term stability, enabling them to avoid price-fluctuations, which made them more competitive.
We also helped them change the material of selected products and produced alternatives with similar properties, but at a lower cost.
